Christopher Robin FOTD

I made a very simply look just with the Christopher Robin shade from Dawn Eyes Cosmetics and a black gel liner & mascara. I’m sooo in love with Christopher Robin! ūüėĬ†My eyes look brighter and more vivid! Even the skin looks glowy with this eyeshadow :O Sorry for the chunky mascara, but I took the pictures after I got home from work..

Here is the second and unfortunately the last part of the Winnie the Pooh Collection from Dawn Eyes Cosmetics. Click HERE for the first part. Enjoy!

Tigger

Official description: A shimmery cream base with an orange overlay and bright copper sparks.

My opinion: My idea was to make an orange with red undertones and with a golden sheen, black & pink sparkles. But do you know what? The shade that Dawn made is better! It’s a buttery neutral pastel shade with orange sparkles and orange iridescence. I just love it because it’s such an unexpected shade for Tigger. But I think it very suit Tigger¬†because it’s a happy, light, bright and sparkly shade just like Tigger’s character.

Eeyore

Official description: A medium grey matte base with a glowing pink overtone and sparkling blue glitter.

My opinion:¬†Eeyore is one of the characters that are close to my heart. The shade really suit Eeyore. It’s a dusty, low sheen gray with some blue/violet iridescence. But personally I would prefer to see a shade that has a more positive attitude.. Sorry Dawn! ūüė¶

Kanga & Roo

Official description: A taupe brown with blue overtone and loaded with pink glitter.

My opinion: Like the two characters, this is a bouncy, duochrome shade. I looove it! It has a dirty base, some pink glitter and a jeans blue duochrome.  A must have!

Owl

Official description: A shimmering metallic copper tan, drenched in copper and golden glitter!

My opinion: Surprisingly I like this shade. Normally I don’t like coppery shades, especially if they have a strong red undertone. But Owl has something special. The difference makes the golden sparkle and even a little golden sheen in it. Very flattering and multi usable.

Overall I’m very satisfied with this bunch of shades – like with the first one. If you’re new to indie makeup I really would recommend you to try Dawn!

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics – Winnie the Pooh Collection – Part 1 of 2

Today I have¬†first swatches¬†of the Winnie the Pooh Collection, from Dawn Eyes Cosmetics :). Click HERE¬†for the second part. I’m so happy to present these pretty shades, that Dawn created. To become my dream true, I received help from¬†a girl named Fawn, and¬†Wendi from Makeup Zombie. Thank you so much girls! ‚̧ ‚̧ ‚̧

Pooh

Official Description: A low sheen gold with a red shift overtone and bright copper glitter in 2 tones.

My opinion: Pooh is a honey toned medium yellow with a subtile red/orange shift and orange/copper SPARKLES! ‚̧

Christopher Robin

Official Description: A peach and blue duochrome sporting lots of golden glitter.

My opinion: One of my favourites! C.R. is¬†a medium¬†peach with a strong aqua shift and lots of golden sparkles. So unique! ‚̧

Rabbit

Official Description: A pale yellow with a pink overlay and brilliant golden glitter.

My opinion: I’m so sad, that my photos don’t show the pink shift that Rabbit contains. On the sun is this¬†just a plain¬†satiny vanilla color, but¬†in shade¬†the pink duochrome shift shows up with¬†a bunch of pale gold sparkles.

Piglet

Official Description: A matte beige base with strong fuchsia sheen and sparkling with purple gleams.

My opinion: This is the only shade from this bunch, that disappointed¬†a tiny little bit.. I think this is a pretty color, but it just don’t suit Piglet enough to represent him ūüė¶ It’s my fault, because I wanted a beige color with a fuchsia¬†sheen.. Probably¬†it will be better that the shade will be a medium to pale satin pink with a violet sheen.. I really don’t know.. Anyway, this shade reminds me on a baby of Chanel – Paradoxal polish. Just a little softer and brighter.

Overall I’m very satisfied with the colors. They are all fine milled, and apply easy. Thank you so much Dawn! ‚̧
